Contact Youth Programme
Anyone is welcome to contact the WellStop Team Leader/ Branch Managers to discuss concerns or make referrals for young people.
- Referrals come from a wide range sources including CYFS, schools, health professionals, social workers, Special Education, whanau parents and caregivers.
- We normally expect CYFS to be involved in the management of young people referred for assessment and treatment of sexually harmful behaviour, especially if the behaviour involves significant harm to others.
- If CYFS are not involved we will discuss the various options with you (e.g. private family referral, other agency referral, school referral).
- WellStop has funding contracts with the Department of Child, Youth and Family and other agencies for young people meeting certain criteria.
- All other referrals need to funded, either by families or referring agencies.
Please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss all options. You can speak to the Youth Programme Team Leader to discuss any questions you might have or you are welcome to download a Youth Programme Referral Form.
